STEP UP Week 4 Day 1 – Violence Prevention

Today was the first day of violence prevention week, and since I finished with my one postcard early Will had me make more. Each postcard talks about a different kind of violence. I had a lot of fun today. my favorite postcards are the ones about Youth, Sexual, and suicide prevention. Everyone have a great day ^^

p.s    The two small postcards are some of the ones I didn’t like very much, so pay no attention to those.

Step-Up week 2 day 3

This is the final product of the postcard for this weeks theme. This is the meaning behind my postcard. Today was a great day.

The soil is rich and that is the start of everything basically. If you are living a bicultural lifestyle then where you started from is rich with knowledge and experiences(A flower starts in the soil.) Everything starts with your parents who care for you and hold you until you are grown(People care for the flower that it can grow.) Raising someone who belongs to more than one culture will be an imperfect upbringing, but in the end, they will be a special one of a kind person with many different sides to them(Thus the different looking petals), and they will have many experiences of two or more worlds. (There is more than one kind of pictures in the flower petals.)

Soil- Your parents, your origin.
Hands – The care is given to you by your parents/people around you to raise you up to live the way you are right now.
Petals- The many different things that BALL is about. The experiences one can have.
BALL- Ties everything together, for it is Bicultural Active Living Lifestyle, and everything in the petals can relate to BALL.

I wish everyone the best weekend and hope that everyone stays safe.

Step-Up week 2 day 2

Today was a great day William was showing us some of the work that AMA did last year and one of the postcards inspired me to make this. Thanks to that postcard I am closer to finishing my postcard for this weeks theme. Just to mention we were kicked out of the computer lab, and had a whole hour of down time. It was a nice break, and no complaints here. I just hope everyone within my team has enough time to finish their postcards for this week. I hope everyone had a good day, I know Will did not.

p.s Everyone please wish that William has a good day tomorrow ^^

Everyone have a good day, and I hope to see everyone tomorrow.

Today, we printed the ball logo on to t-shirts, and it was fun. This postcard is my final for the obesity theme. We also started our work for week two and the theme is ball. I am having a hard time coming out with ideas, but I hope in these two coming days I get some inspiration. I wish everyone a good day, and hope to see everyone again tomorrow. Work hard everyone.
