Youth in Charge

Today we finish the film for this week’s theme pretty quickly which susprising but we lost the video contest  against our rivals😟😟😟🙁😞😞😞😞the food was good give it an 8 today.Tomorrow we start editing the film and hopefully beat our rivals

Today was good. It was really hot when we went on our walks which kinda sucked. Lunch was pretty good today. We started our Domestic Violence theme and we’re currently working on our designs for that in the Digital Arts group. I’m almost done with my design.

I had a lot of work to do today, which was nice. It kept me busy the whole day without getting bored. Today’s weekly theme is Violence Prevention. I was doing my research on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Although I usually take a longer time to finish a postcard, this one went by quite fast. So my Supervisor told me to create five more postcards for Violence Prevention in CDC. Each of the postcards holds different violence in all stages of life. I finished three and got another three more to go.

Today, we finish editing our basketball film and now, we are in the making of another film about violence prevention. We also watched the other team’s film for the last topic and then my team won according to Chou.

Today, we finished up our new film and I feel proud about finalizing our film. We compared our film with the other team’s film which we could see parts that were good and parts where we could improve most on. Overall, my team’s had won over the other team’s film because of audio wise and acting (which I kinda liked the other team’s acting over my team’s acting instead).

Today I started working on my violence prevention postcard. I spent a lot of today researching about violence prevention and the damage abuse causes people. The hardest part about making post cards for me is that I can never find the exact photo I have in mind so I had to spend some time doing that today. Im looking forward to coming back tomorrow and working on my postcard.

Today was the first day of violence prevention week, and since I finished with my one postcard early Will had me make more. Each postcard talks about a different kind of violence. I had a lot of fun today. my favorite postcards are the ones about Youth, Sexual, and suicide prevention. Everyone have a great day ^^

p.s    The two small postcards are some of the ones I didn’t like very much, so pay no attention to those.

today we started our violence prevention projects. i made a suicide hotline poster. the poster i made had a rainbow in the background.

 

Today all in all was a good day, although it was scorching outside. I enjoyed working on our projects for violence prevention. This is a big topic to cover and their are so many ways you could talk about this, but anyways here is the current project.
