Youth in Charge

Today, my video team and I looked over our script, but we didn’t like it, so Chou was telling us two cultural stories, which were good. But anyways, we came up with an idea we liked, and we wrote it and shot it. It was a creepy idea, but it was a good idea. We finished shooing, so I hope that editing it would turn out okay!

My team worked very hard today. We went over the script for our fifth project but Chou didn’t like it. We ended up scrapping that script and making a whole new one. We had a bit of story time while we were working on the new script. It was a good story and we got a great idea for the new script. We wrote it and went on to filming after lunch. We were able to get our filming done today just in the nick of time. Everything went as planned today.

Today team Victory and I shot our film for the culture story. The story is a horror story. I can’t wait to see how it comes out. We also went over shots and how to get better sound. A way to get better sound is to be as close as possible without being in scene with the microphone. Let’s see what the future have in store for us! With our new and improved skil.

This week theme is Culture Story. I finished my postcard about my culture, but I haven’t had Mr. William check it if it’s good yet.

My Development Day wasn’t quite as bad, but it was probably bad with my counselor because she had some issues with my Step-Up peers’ interruptions. Anyhow, I learned more about my workplace, OSHA, career, and savings! I also heard we were going to somewhere tomorrow, but I’m not exactly sure where so I’ll check on it after. I got some good news from Mr. William, too. He announced that we would get about three transfer Chinese interns. Even though I may not interact with them much, I am still excited to meet them.

So today we had to write a whole new script because cultural stuff can be difficult at times.Then we recorded everything and after all that nonstop stuff I’m blogging. So that’s my day, editing tomorrow!

 

Today we got done with the production of our movie and the other team has finished their production of their movie. We struggled to finish it but we got it done. Tomorrow we’ll have to be done with the editing and the writing of our next movie.

Today was fine. Lunch wasn’t that great. But I feel like I got a lot of work done for our culture stories project, I think I’m almost done with it. It includes different pictures and things like that.

Today we have to start up our new weekly theme, Cultural stories. In making this weeks theme I decided to go with my Norwegian ancestry. But thats not just it. This week we have also been asked to talk about the skills and experience that we have collected in the job field. I would say that I’ve learned a lot about what its like to have a job with stuff like tasks and demand, feedback and workloads. Will try to use this experience to help me further on my career path.

So we have to blog about what i did on thursday which i forgot the name of. It was at this big building and on the highest floor i think. But we pretty much just sat in a class for hours and talked about jobs a stuff. Then they actually made us do a math and reading test which was kinda annoying but easy. But we also did get 0.5 high school credits which was cool. The lunch was not that good.
