Youth in Charge

Today in Graphic design we worked on our alternative projects in Adobe Illustrator for something related to violence prevention. Today for lunch we had hot dogs which weren’t half bad, and we were allowed to get more than 1 since most of the kids were gone today. Today was also a majority of the Graphics team’s off day or Professional Development date. Today for a walk we went to the park and walked around the building looking for a injured baby bird I had spotted during my bike ride around the building. Overall today was a good day.

Mia helped transcribe the Northside Stories videos while everyone else worked on some graphic projects. I made a photo look kind of like a sketch.

Today was interesting. We did photoshop, but we also played games after we had finished our side project. The lunch was also great!

today was a good day. It was very quiet at work today, the trip to the park was cool and we play lots of games in my group. Hope work goes well tomorrow. I will be absent because I have my professional development meeting.

yesterday I was the only one who had the step up training day out of all the interns that means that today people get to leave early I guess I have to stay which is weird I think cause I’m the only intern that doesn’t leave early, today was a pretty chill day  because half of my team was gone so we watched a movie, the movie was talking about the difference and similarities between poetry and rap.

today, we have a lack of people today. and we were stuck outside for a while this morning. a great way to start our morning! also, I was drinking cherry dr. pepper. it was gooooooooood! I like the lack of people to be honest. I’ll give this, 9.5/10

So the start of my first week went well. I worked on a violence prevention postcard and i was pretty stuck on  what to do but i found something to do and feel ok with it but i still want to do more and better. I dont think im done with it but i dont really know what else to do.

Today we had our first day of new theme, violence prevention. It’s a complex issue that i’m glad we’re talking about. during research i learned more about the worldwide health organization and read a paper they made about violence prevention. it inspired me to make this new postcard

Today we finished our film, both team, watched each other’s film and chou agreed that team titan won because our audio was better. Though I honestly thought that their film was better than ours. Who knows it may be because I’ve watched our film a hundred times while we were editing.
